*Throughput performance in transparent mode exceeds that of proxy mode for both the Model 1200 and 3000.  Throughput statistics assume iPrism is configured correctly and the network infrastructure is setup correctly.  Also, the throughput performance of the Model 3000 is roughly 2.5 times that of the Model 1200. Note that identifying an exact supportable user count is difficult because of a number of variables, such as network topology, appliance configuration, available physical bandwidth, etc.
