Prior to switching from Bridge to Proxy mode, consider the following:
Proxy mode supports ONLY proxy-mode internet access, not transparent-mode. This will require user browsers to be configured to proxy directly to iPrism. Until browsers are re-configured, there will be no filtering of user URL requests.
When switching from bridge to proxy, you will need to ensure your defined networks have appropriate authentication, autologin, & profiling options set. These settings may be the same, similar, or different from existing bridge-mode settings depending on the nature of the existing setup, and what goals you are trying to achieve.
If switching from bridge to proxy mode, you may un-plug the external interface cable as it will no longer be needed. You may do this just prior to enabling Proxy Mode as explained below.
From System > Networking, find the External Interface section and set Mode to disabled (it doesn't matter if the Bridge checkbox is checked or not).
